Who we are

The formation of the Victorian Mobile Landcare Group (VMLCG) represents the next phase of the development of the Mobile Landcare concept.

Originally formed by people passionate about landcare through responsible 4WD use, we are a non-profit association fully affiliated with Landcare Australia, committed to the pursuit of supporting environmental projects of our own or others' making, across Victoria.

Welcome to our website. Please bookmark us. We would love to see you join us as a member - whether you have a 4WD or not.

Our programmes are designed to be inclusive, family oriented and social, linking city and country through our growing landcare network activities.

Our Statement of Purposes

This is what we do and how we do it. We've thought about this carefully and these words are our guiding principles. We check them against what we do to stay focused and to maintain our culture and ethos.

The VMLCG is focused on the undertaking and support of land care programs in pursuit of the maintenance and improvement of the environment, principally across Victoria, exploiting the off-road transport, logistics and remote area access capabilities of our members.

Where appropriate, we will undertake programmes in partnership with other land care groups, other community-based, recreational and environmental groups and government agencies.

Our Board of Management

And we are a social group too...

Although we keep our environmental footprint to a minimum, we don't spend every waking moment land caring! Everyone needs a break and we have a diverse range of activities from which you can choose - ranging from wine tasting to listening to guest speakers, from dinners out to cinema nights. Join us!
